The issue could be that the machine is trying to send out a frequency or resolution which the monitor cannot read at this time.
Turned out to be a setting on my TV remote control. Running 2 monitors off a video card on a desktop. Windows 10 3 Monitors I have windows 10 but I've had that for months, way before I started using the cable, so unlike what a lot of people are saying in this thread it's not Or does it just revert back to being disabled (grey)?
